Vintage 1989 Barbie portable cassette player

Vintage Barbie cassette player is a really nice piece of 80s Barbie merchandise. In nice display condition but doesn’t play - there’s some attempt at movement when buttons are pressed so not sure if there is a motor issue or possible rust in the inner workings. Please see all photos.
